Carolina Müller-Möhl is an entrepreneur, philanthropist, and committed elected official who is the founder and president of the Müller-Möhl Group and the Müller-Möhl Foundation. She has successfully managed the family’s investments for more than twenty years. Thanks to her extensive experience in the financial sector, she has become a valued board member of various companies over the course of her career, including Nestlé SA (2004–2012), Orascom Development Holding AG (2008–2022), Neue Zürcher Zeitung (2010–2022), and Fielmann AG (since 2015).
Carolina Müller-Möhl has been actively involved in philanthropic causes for many years and set up her own foundation in 2012. She is a passionate advocate for sustainable change in our society. Over the last twenty years she has also served on various national and international committees, advisory boards and boards of trustees, or as a juror for major national awards.
As someone who likes to put her words into action, she has launched numerous initiatives over the years in the areas of education, local economic development, and reconciliation of work and family life. Equal representation and women’s participation in politics, business, media, culture, research, and society is one of Carolina Müller-Möhl’s key concerns. In her capacity as an expert and advocate of equality, she frequently addresses uncomfortable truths as a speaker, panel participant, and columnist.
Carolina Müller-Möhl studied politics, history, and law at the University of Heidelberg, the London School of Economics (LSE), and the Otto Suhr Institute for Political Science at the Free University of Berlin. She gained further qualifications at the Harvard Kennedy School and the Institute for European Global Studies at the University of Basel. She has also completed numerous other courses at various educational institutions.

In recognition of her success in the private sector and her philanthropic commitment, the World Economic Forum (WEF) named her a Young Global Leader in 2007. She has been one of the top 100 women in Swiss business for many years. Bilanz magazine lists Carolina in its Who’s Who as one of the most important investors in Switzerland.
