Daniel Schäfli

Daniel Schäfli is the COO of the Müller-Möhl Group (MMG), the single-family office of the Müller-Möhl family. He has more than thirty years of banking and investment experience and in-depth knowledge of the operational aspects of all types of securities.

Daniel Schäfli joined MMG in 2002 and is responsible for technical matters, compliance, and controlling operations. This includes the administrative processing of a wide range of assets, including equities, fixed-income products, real estate, hedge funds, private equity, and alternative credit.

Prior to joining MMG, Daniel Schäfli was deputy head of foreign securities trading at Thurgauer Kantonalbank (TKB) from 1994 to 2001. In that role, he was responsible for the execution of all trades in foreign stocks, bonds, options, futures, and other securities and led a team of seven in Weinfelden. He also developed and headed the middle office for TKB. He started his apprenticeship at TKB in 1987 and worked at Swiss Cantobank Securities Ltd., London, in 1993 in bond and equity sales and trading.

Daniel Schäfli has a Swiss bank business education and holds a Certificate in English for International Business and Trade (CEIBT).
